  2. Create a sign (which LoCo you're from)

  3. Blog

(sidenote: upgraded my blog to wordpress 2.7, and i hate it. major overuse of javascript, slow. :( )

As a sidenote: Install gears for firefox and enable Turbo mode in the admin. It feels faster.

  1. A web application shouldn't be so slow that it needs to rely on a client-side application to run faster.
  2. Gears is 32-bit only, no dice. :/

My advice.. ditch WP and go for Serendipity (s9y.org). That way you also get rid off WPs security problems.

I'm sure Serendipity has its own share of problems, it's not like it's immune to a security vulnerability.

All blogging software is garbage really, since everyone's needs are different. WordPress was what I [thought I] wanted, because it used to be really lightweight. Now it just feels like bloat, but I'm sure many love the new features.
